Edible Shasta-Butte is a quarterly magazine that celebrates the abundance of food in Northern California’s central valley from Butte County north to the Oregon border. They tell the stories of local folks in agriculture to promote living in a way that values what is local and seasonal.
Kala’s photography has been featured on the cover for the fall 2018 issue and throughout each issue of Edible Shasta-Butte since 2015. She shoots richly detailed and styled food recipes for the magazine, as well as candid, real-time portraits.
